A journal of my crazy desire to complete one craft or creative project every day for one year.

Projects 205-227: Reving up for the end...
Yep.. Still behind.
2011 has proven to be a ridiculously busy year - and it's already half over! (or only half over?!?)
I've attended a couple of workshops lately - one for cards and one for pottery.
The cards workshop had us complete 18 projects in one day (woo hoo!!! catching up!) and the majority of the items in today's list came from that date. I don't have the projects back from the pottery workshop yet (glazing, firing, ya know).
I do have a bunch of birthdays/anniversaries/baby showers and an art show coming up, plus it's really time to get cracking on those Christmas presents, so I do expect to finish my full 365 crafts by the end of July... which means I basically have to complete 4.6 crafts per day until July 31st.
This could get interesting....
Here's today's round up - pictures are on Flickr as always!
205 - With Love Card (made 18 of these for a swap... yikes! See photo above)
206 - Enjoy the Simple Things Card
207 - Mini Hello Card
208 - Orange Hello Card
209 - Bright Thank You Card
210 - Flower Hello Card
211 - Mini Open Sea Card
212 - Imagine the Possibilities Card
213 - You mean the World 2 me Card
214 - Open Sea blank Card
215 - Go Confidently Card
216 - Summer Splash Travel Box (made out of a DVD case - love this idea! You can stick crayons, activities, etc. in it for the kids to take in the car!)
217 - Octopus Mini Card (cutting out the octopus sucks... )
218 - Turtle Mini Card (much easier to cut out!)
219 - Summer Book Mark
220 - Just for Fun Pinwheel Card
221 - Pennant Card (Triangle punches are awesome!)
222 - Thank You triple layer card (these punches are way too much fun)
223 - Bird & Flower Friendship Card
224 - Grandma's Birthday Card 2011
225 - Merry Christmas Tree Punch Card (upside down triangle punches make great Christmas trees!)
226 - Baby Elephant Congrats Card (my excuse for this not-so-fabulous card is, um, well, you know... I'm 31...)
227 - Posy Hello Card (just finished eight of these for a swap on the weekend - new products/colours and totally cute!)
And that's all folks - keep smiling!

Projects 190-204: Family Fun
Crap. I'm running out of time. Gonna make it, but still running out of time! I started a new job last week, so between wrapping up stuff at the old job and figuring out what the heck I'm doing in the new one, there hasn't been a lot of time for crafting!
I'm going to a couple of crafting mayhem days in the next week, so hopefully that will get me back on track!
In the meanwhile, here are the newest additions. Most of them ended up being for family members, hence, "family fun":
190 - Flowered Thank You card - thankfully, there is a punch for those teensy little flowers...
191 - Hopeful Card - I love that butterfly!
192 - Thank you gift case - brilliant idea (not mine) to turn DVD cases into gift boxes!
193 - Mini Thank you card set - for inside the gift case
194 - Wonderful Woman Thank You card - love, love, love this colour combo! (See above)
195 - Thanks for the Little Things Card
196 - Mushroom Thank You Card - Why mushrooms? Why not!
197 - Costa Rica 2001 Scrapbook Page - great trip!
198 - Porthole Thank You Card (note: no picture available for this one, as I have entered it in a contest. It totally freaking rocks, however!)
199 - Beautiful blue Baby Blanket (note: no picture available for this one because I only finished it just before I gave it away! It's really simple and soooo soft! The baby is also cute!)
200 - Grandpa's Father's Day Card - I love my Grandpa!
201 - Wise old Owl Father's Day card
201 - Love Life Birthday Card - I love the colours on this one too - thought I would hate them, but boy was I wrong!
203 - Wish Big Birthday Card - another boy's card. The key is to keep it simple!
204 - Happy Birthday Flower Card - ohhh, stickers!
Unless otherwise noted, pictures are on Flickr. Which I now have to pay for because I have over 200 pictures there. Please go look at them so I feel better about spending the cash!
