Okay, so here we are in an unprecedented state (at least as far as I know). Due to Snowmageddon 2010, the library has been closed since 4 pm on Monday, and remains closed today. Yay snow day!
But, the sun shining on the 100+ cm of snow on the ground, and thing must continue. Like this blog.
I've got my coffee, my cinnamon pancakes (snow day = pancakes and syrup) and the list of 61 projects that I have completed since my last post in August. Yikes!
Here's how we're going to get all of this stuff up:
All of the photos have been uploaded to Flickr (which took pretty much all of yesterday!)
I'm going to post the projects in batches by type (i.e. Birthday, Christmas, etc.) and add a picture of my favourite project from that batch. I'll list all of the project titles so you can easily find them on flickr if you are so inclined. I'm still about 50 project behind where I should be for this time of year, but I'm hoping all of the Christmas gifts I still have to make will help me catch up!
Keep smiling - it's only snow!
A journal of my crazy desire to complete one craft or creative project every day for one year.

And so it begins....
Tomorrow is day one, and I'm all set to go! I have my plans made for what I'm going to work on for the first week, and I'm chomping at the bit to get started.
I've had a bit more feedback about this project, and have received a few "You're crazy, it can't be done!". Well, obviously it can, others have done it before me, I'm sure! So, I'm gonna prove them all wrong... I hope!
T-minus 2.5 hours until I finish work for the day (I'm on a break right now, I promise) and then I'm off next week - can't wait for the relaxation and crafting madness to begin!
Blog posts from tomorrow onwards will include a description of each project I complete, and the level of difficulty involved. I'll also throw in some tidbits about my zany life, and the response of people to this project as it progresses. I will do my best to put up photos of completed projects as they are ready, however I still haven't got a camera, so they may be a bit staggered to begin with.
That said, fasten your seatbelt kiddies, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

Great News!
I found out this morning that my best friend is expecting! I can't wait to be "Aunty Lindsay" and spoil the kid rotten! (Quick, where's the nearest book store - I gotta start shopping!)
In the mean time, I can start thinking about all of the things I can create for baby before he/she is born - perfect timing for my little project, don't you think? So great of her to oblige me with the pregnancy (kidding!)
Today's goal is creating a list of all the "ongoing" projects I have (ie all the projects that I've started at one point or another and not finished) as well as all of the birthdays and holidays that are coming up so I can make a general guide line of what I'm going to do in the next year.
I'm sure some one some where once said that the key to success is planning.
Hope they're right!
